You are not happy with Biden’s performance so far, but you also don’t like Trump or any of his sycophants…

…so who should you vote for in the midterms?

Well, I can understand that you don’t like Trump and any of the candidates who want to be just like him, and at this point, you can not trust any Republican candidates in general.

To make your decision easier, think about which party has been standing up to protect our democracy and which party has been trying to erode our democratic principles.

Republicans been involved in trying to overthrow our duly elected government. Their leader has been twice impeached, and he is the first President to not transition power peacefully. Members of the Republican Party have been spreading the Big Lie about a stolen election.

States that are controlled by Republicans have been curtailing voting rights. They are making it illegal for a woman to have an abortion, even in the event of rape or incest. These are just two examples of the undemocratic things that are taking place in many Republican-led states.

These vile moves on the state level are met with the approval of Republicans in both the U.S. House and Senate.

Republicans are hypocrites without any credibility, as we have seen many times. They lie, they support crazy conspiracy theories, they want to change our history and what we teach our kids in schools about it.

Some Republicans openly supported the insurrection on January 6. Others denied that it was an insurrection, calling it nothing more than a tourist visit. Republicans also do not want to get to the bottom of who is behind the events leading up to and on January 6. The list goes on, and on…

Enough with the Republicans. Let’s look at frustration and disappointment with the Biden administration. Besides the economy, which is often influenced by events beyond anyone's control, it is a definite disappointment that Biden has not been able to follow through on many of his election promises.

Well, Biden’s hands are tied if he does not have the support of every single Democrat in the Senate…which he does not. Both Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin have blocked critical actions and legislation, from getting rid of the filibuster in the Senate to stalling the Build Back Better project.

If we want for President Biden to succeed with his campaign promises, then we need to give him more Democrats in the Senate as well as continue to maintain the Democratic majority in the House.

Since Republican candidates can not be trusted at this point to actually represent their constituents and do what is best for our country, the choice is simple, vote for a Democrat in any race, at any level.

If you even remotely consider voting for a Republican, then you must have been in a coma from 2015 until now. If that is the case, take some time and go through the news, starting with Trumps inauguration in 2016, until the present time.

You will find that Republicans have betrayed and hurt this country in so many ways, it will make your head spin!
