Pardon me but…
…I don’t think it is that easy.
There have been quite a few stories this week about Trump considering giving preemptive pardons to his “Evil Brood” of Don Jr, Eric and Ivanka as well as to his son-in-law, “Luziferous Jared,” his ridiculous personal lawyer, “Oozing Rudy” and maybe even to himself.
The obvious question of “what federal crimes did they commit,” have been asked by many, followed by the musings of whether or not he can even legally do this.
I am a very fair minded person and cheating riles me up like nothing else, so this preemptive pardoning scheme, or even the pardoning of family members, cronies, contributors to the campaign, financial donors and anyone willing to kiss his ass or give him money, power or both, has me fuming.
However, it may not be all that easy for Trump and the slimy scum that surrounds and clings to him like a bad stench.
I have no legal knowledge and know not much about the presidential pardoning power and the pardoning process than what I have read or heard about in the news media, so I am just letting my thoughts spin out.
When you are pardoned for something, does it not mean that you first have to be tried and convicted of a crime and then sentenced to receive some form of punishment or to make some kind of retribution?
If that is the case, it may still be worthwhile for the next Justice Department to look into any and all wrong doings of Trump, his clan of Grifters and anyone who has helped and enabled them. If there are wrongdoings fond, they should be tried and convicted in a court of law, as publicly as possible, so that the world knows of their misdeeds. Even if they can then utilize the Presidential Pardon that they have preemptively been provided with, the shame of the trial and the stain of the conviction will hopefully be like a scarlet letter that will brand them as pariahs and outcasts for the rest of their lives in any country that is not mired in greed an corruption and has an understanding of law, order and most of all, fairness.
If Trump and all the other parasites choose to leave here and find a country where they can still show their faces in public and where people maybe will have personal and business interactions with them, it will probably be some place like North Korea, Russia, Israel or Saudi Arabia.
The name Trump should be elevated into the echelon of infamous names that no-one wants to have and nobody wants to be associated with, like Hitler, Himmler, Göring, Mengele, Judas, Lucifer and Satan, to name a few and those who enabled and supported them, who benefited from their evil and wrongdoings knowingly, should also not be forgotten and forever be stained by that association.
Let them get those Presidential Pardons because accepting them, in my opinion, is an admittance of guilt in itself. Investigators won’t have to figure out whether or not there was a crime because that fact is pretty obvious. They just need to uncover the crimes, bring the charges and hold the trial.
My final happy thought, the Presidential Pardon only covers federal crimes. Any crimes committed on the state level can still be investigated, prosecuted and punished to the full extend of the state law.
